ABOUT US...

John and Sheila Smoley officially began on March 3, 1984, where they were married at Guasti Mansion in Ontario CA.

Sheila entered the partnership with several years experience with bookkeeping and accounting for various companies. She was also recently licensed in real estate sales with Red Carpet Real Estate in West Covina as well as handling their accounting for seven offices.

John had experience in Land Surveying, and was licensed as a sales agent in 1976, and obtained his brokers license in 1981. He worked for Red Carpet Realty from 1976 thru 1984. Beginning in 1985 he worked with Real Estate Express in Covina, and co-founded Citrus Mortgage Company in 1986. John had experience buying and selling homes, being a landlord, rehabbing distressed properties and working with short sales and foreclosures while at Real Estate Express.

After moving to Lake Elsinore in 1985, John and Sheila decided to relocate to Corona, as commuting to Covina became unreasonable with a growing family. In 1987, Regional Lending Services, was created, and John left Real Estate Express and Citrus Mortgage to begin the new company, Regional Lending Services, with Sheila.

John and Sheila have two daughters, a son in law and two grandchildren. They have become very involved with historical reenacting focusing on the War Between the States, and since 2007 have been representing Jefferson Davis and the First Lady of the Confederacy, Varina Davis, at various functions, events, and school presentations.

Here at Regional Lending Services, John and Sheila believe very strongly in what are now considered old fashioned values by many. They value their word, what they promise and in doing the very best to serve their customers.
